There are three different types of patents:
- Patent P (Swimming Pool);
- Patent lP (Lakes and Swimming Pool);
- MlP patent (Sea, Lakes and Swimming Pool).
The final test is held in front of an officer of the Port Authority. The courses include 20 hours of theory, 50 hours of practical exercises and 30 hours of internship. After passing the exam, the FIN card is issued for the exercise of the profession of lifeguard assistant, with a validity of three years.
